I build attractive, long-lasting, affordable custom sheds onsite. Perfect for storing bikes, lawnmowers, kids toys, gardening supplies, or just about anything else. Take a look at my Portfolio for examples of my work, the FAQ page to answer any questions, and my pricing guide to see my transparent pricing. I look forward to building your shed.
Since I build on-site I won't take down your fences, drive on your grass, or make a mess of your yard.
I use LP Smart Side panels which won't rot for 50 years. Paint it if you like or I can for you. Check out their 50 year prorated warranty here.
30 year warranty on great looking shingles. We can choose from a few colors to match your other structures. I don't offer steel roofs at this time.
A lot of folks make sheds with 2x2s. I use hand-picked 2x4s for ridigity and long life.
The trim on many sheds will rot because it is made of wood. I use wood-grained PVC, which means it will match the siding and will never rot away. It also doesn't need to be painted. Nice, right?
Enough of an overhang to keep water off your shed and look nice to boot. All roofs are a 5/12 pitch, which is common.
The sheds I build never touch the ground. I build a 2x6 floor, with 3/4 plywood flooring (pressure treated availible), sitting on top of cement blocks to ensure a strong floor that doesn't touch the ground.
Our doors have a locking tee handle with keys.
I use 2x6 floor joist in all my sheds. Most other shed companies use 2x4's. My floors are super strong and will stand the test of time.
I include gable air vents on all our sheds. Some companies charge extra or don't include them at all.
At Raised Right Sheds, transparency in pricing isn't just a policy; it's a cornerstone of my values. From the initial consultation to the final invoice, I strive to maintain open communication, empowering our clients to make informed decisions that align with their budgets and needs. In most cities a permit is not required for sheds that are 200 square feet or less, but a zoning permit may be required. If nether a permit or zoning permit is required there are still requirements for each city as to how tall a shed can be, where the shed can be placed on your property, and how far of a setback is required. Most cities require a 5-foot set back. This information can usually be found online by looking up Accessory Building Requirements along with your city or zip code. Customers are responsible for obtaining any permits needed and checking their local requirements regarding sheds. If you are having trouble finding this information, I will try our best to help you find this information.

In Winona County, sheds over 200 square feet require a permit and building plans. There are also restrictions on height, setbacks, and easement. Please call your city inspections department for more clarity. It is the homeowner's responsibility to know these restrictions before building.
